Dr. Nicole Prudent

Dr. Nicole Prudent is a primary care pediatrician at Boston Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of pediatrics at the Boston University School of Medicine. She was born and raised in Port au Prince Haiti, obtained her medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma of Guadalajara, Mexico, and completed her residency in pediatrics in Washington DC. She earned a Masters in Public Health Degree with concentration in Maternal and child health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Last year, she graduated from the LEND (Leadership in Neuro Developmental Disability) fellowship where she learned about the management of non profit organizations, in addition to disability programming and policies.

Dr Prudent is presently the Co-Founder and director of Youth and Family Enrichment Services Inc, (YOFES) a community-based organization located in Hyde Park which provides services to help immigrant families “Raise healthy children despite economic and social disparities”

 YOFES’ flagship program called “Open Access to Music Education for Children” (OAMEC) brings music education to neighborhood children and offers other academic enrichments as alternatives to street life for many Boston-area youth.
